Flats
This is an HO scale
plan designed to fit in a 8.5' x 17' space, using an around-the-walls
shelf approach. The region and prototypes were western USA or Canada in the diesel era. Curves
are 22"radius, and the layout is 18" wide. I used a lot of building flats
against the walls to provide industrial switching opportunities and to
make the narrow layout seem deeper by using the building fronts to suggest
larger areas behind.
