I have been a model railroader for over 35 years and publishing this
site is one way
that I try to help others enjoy this fabulous hobby. The site is
produced and maintained at my own expense, as
a personal contribution dedicated to support the growth and development
of the greatest hobby on the planet. |

Responding
to Needs: revising the approach as time goes forward.
I will
continue to make every effort to update this site in a regular and
consistent manner,
however significant changes are being made for 2007 and beyond. As
explained below in the current status report, I am in the process of
revising the content and structure into more of a static
information-sharing site.
Background &
Current Status Report: the brief story behind the concept.
This site was
created in July 2000 with the intent of providing interactive support to
the model railroad community: therefore, the site originally had lots of
e-mail links to which I would reply with more detailed model railroad
advice. In 2007, however, I have observed that my good intentions are
being hi-jacked by aggressive new spam-technology. My e-mail links have
been "pirated" and "cloned" by programs designed to
find e-mail addresses in web pages and then use variations of those
e-mails to send unwanted (and often inappropriate) messages to mass
mailing lists. Therefore, I am eliminating all e-mail links to minimize
negative contacts for all site visitors. |
