steam operation in mountainous North-Central Turkey featuring lots of
coal traffic.

I always used to ignore European rail operations... I
didn't like the coupling systems or the "odd" locomotive
configurations and cabs. BUT then I got an e-mail from Derya Ferendeci
who lives and models HO trains in Turkey.
This layout is AMAZING - incredible detail, great scenery and
operations, and he has an entire web site full of photos and videos.
This is a MUST-SEE layout and web site.
I only borrowed a couple of pictures to post on this page, but a visit
