Eastern - Background
Our trip to the Durango & Silverton in August 2000 was a lot
of fun for the entire family. If you have not been to Colorado to
experience this narrow gauge marvel for yourself, make your plans ASAP,
because it's a
definite must-see.
We sat in an open-sided passenger car on the
way to Silverton, and although it was a little cold there were fantastic
views that more than made up for the cinders and smoke in our eyes!
I took these pictures with regular 35mm film and a cheap instamatic,
then I scanned them for web publishing.
